Capture Your Journey - Making Pizza with My Granddaughter & My Favorite Pizza Dough Recipe

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for Capture Your Journey.  I'm linking up again with my daughter and you can also link up your Homemaking Posts too.

I'm sharing a pizza making session with my granddaughter Anya. She is a delight to do anything with so Grandma was loving every minute of our time together.

Here's a bit of our cooking session:

Thankful for such a sweet helper.

Anya could of played with that dough all evening.

I love this picture.

It's a bit of a cheesy smile from my baby but maybe it was because we were getting ready to add the cheese.

This was a most favorite part!

My Pizza Dough recipe is adapted from the Homestead Blessings The Art of Bread Making DVD

Quick & Easy Pizza Dough

2- 1/2 cups Whole Wheat or Spelt Flour
1 Tablespoon Yeast
1 teaspoon Salt
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Cup Warm Water
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all  ingredients together.  Knead for five minutes.  Let dough rest for 5 minutes.  Roll out and bake for 12-15 minutes after adding your favorite toppings.  Makes two 12 inch pizza crusts.

It's your turn.
